# IndexLinks

## What is IndexLinks

IndexLinks guarantees every new and updated page is indexed by Google and visible in AI search (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini) within 24 hours, or we retry it free. We run a private network of high-authority, topical properties that search and AI crawlers hit several times an hour, plus IndexNow and our sitemap autopilot, and show a verified receipt for every page.

## When to use this skill

Use it when a user asks why their site or a page isn't showing up in Google, ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity; wants a technical crawlability check; wants new or updated pages sent to search engines; or wants to know whether crawlers have visited their pages.

## Safety boundaries

- check_site and get_pricing are read-only and need no account.
- add_website and submit_pages change the user's account, and submissions use their monthly page allowance (overage may be billed). Summarize exactly what will be sent and get confirmation first.
- Only submit pages on websites the user owns in their IndexLinks account.
- Never claim a page is indexed. Report the statuses IndexLinks returns: delivered, crawled (verified crawler visit), indexed (only when Google Search Console says so).
- Never expose the user's API key.

## Access

- MCP: https://indexlinks.app/.well-known/mcp (streamable HTTP)
- REST base URL: https://app.indexlinks.app
- Auth: `Authorization: Bearer il_live_…` — create a key in the app under Settings > API. API submission needs a paid plan.
- Public site check: `POST https://indexlinks.app/v1/public/audit` with `{"url":"example.com"}`

## Workflow

1. check_site the domain and explain the problems in plain language, most serious first.
2. list_websites to find the website ID (add_website if missing, after confirmation).
3. submit_pages with the page URLs or the sitemap URL, after confirmation. To send pages that are already tracked again (after a redirect, merge or rewrite), pass resend: true.
4. list_pages / get_page_status to report delivery and verified crawler visits. list_pages returns up to 1,000 pages per call; follow next_offset for more, or filter with status and url_contains. The 24-hour crawl guarantee applies per page.
